Skye Flanigan '07

Harvard Chan C-CHANGE
Skye Flanigan is the director of programs at the Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Harvard Chan C-CHANGE). She is responsible for stewarding community engagement initiatives, developing and implementing new educational programs, and advancing strategic partnerships for the Center. Skye also manages the Center’s convenings and events, bringing together thought leaders and influencers to support critical thinking and strategic problem solving around climate change and health.

Skye has been working with the Center since joining Harvard in 2014. Skye previously managed the Healthy Buildings Program (HBP), conducting research on how indoor environments impact health and productivity. On top of overseeing the HBP’s administrative needs, she was a key contributor to research projects such as Flavoring Chemicals in E-Cigarettes, the Healthy Green Campus Study, the Impact of CO2 on Pilot Performance, and the internationally acclaimed COGfx Study.

In May 2016 Skye received her master’s degree from Harvard in sustainability and environmental management with a concentration in environmental health. Previously, Skye received her bachelor’s degree in international business from Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. She has a background in environmental consulting, international finance, hospitality, and event planning for innovation communities. Originally a Colorado and California native, in her free time you can find Skye hitting the slopes, playing tennis, biking, hiking, doing yoga, and traveling. Skye is a lover of life and strives to build health into the conversation to ensure a sustainable future for all.
