Millbrook notches two wins in races against Frederick Gunn and Berkshire
Coach Havard
Another gray race day, but the rain once again held off for race time! Millbrook girls travelled to Salisbury on Saturday, October 28th for our final regular season away race of the season. Salisbury's new course is deceptively challenging, with a number of long, gradual up hills and a final steep push. There's a gorgeous meadow of flowers, but no time to stop and smell them! We made it all one race with the boys team, and Millbrook girls got it done. Juliet Drury pushed with the boys, besting more than half their field, and winning the girls race handily in well over a minute faster than the next girl finisher. Freshman Selina Hung keeps improving, taking the number two spot for Millbrook, with Jaicee Downs close behind. Sarah Eagen ran a tough race to capture the fourth spot, followed by Ingrid Schmitt and Aiden Corbin. Angelina Huang pushed Nga Ho the whole way through the grueling race. Well-done, 'Brook!
