Millbrook traveled to the Frederick Gunn School for their 2nd to last game of the season for a night game under the lights. This was Gunn's last game of their season and no seat was empty to watch the game under cold and clear conditions.
The Mustangs kicked off the ball to the Highlanders to start the game. On Gunn's first offensive play, SS Matt Sardo intercepted a Gunn pass and ran it back 25 yards to give the Mustangs great field position on their first offensive series. Millbrook scored at 9:09 remaining in the 1st quarter on a multiply tipped 6-yard pass from QB Mac Elliott to WR Matt Sardo, with Elliott converting on a run. At the end of the 1st quarter, the Mustangs scored again on a 45-yard TD reception by QB Mac Elliott from WR Matt Sardo as the passer on a trick play. SR Ethan Kessler made the conversion on a reception from QB Mac Elliott. At the end of the 1st quarter, the score was Millbrook 16, Gunn 0.
In the 2nd quarter, Millbrook scored at 5:13 remaining on a 4-yard TD run by QB Mac Elliott, with a run conversion made by RB Nolan Cadieux. At 1:37 remaining in the quarter, QB Mac Elliott enjoyed excellent blocking to make a 45-yard rushing touchdown. RB Nolan Cadieux again converted on a running play. At halftime, the score was Millbrook 32, Gunn 0.
The Mustangs scored at 5:24 remaining in the 3rd quarter on a 26 yard TD run by QB Mac Elliott. The score at the end of the 3rd quarter was Millbrook 38, Gunn 0.
Millbrook scored one more time in the 4th quarter, at 9:18 remaining on a 73-yard TD run by QB Mac Elliott, who also made a run conversion to wrap up the Mustangs scoring. Gunn scored on a 60-yard kickoff return to give the final score Millbrook 46, Gunn 6.
QB Mac Elliott led the Mustangs in rushing with 155 yards, followed by RB Rocco Boland with 40 yards rushing. Other rushers were RB Nolan Cadieux with 39 yards and QB David Gersten with 32 yards. Pass reception leaders were QB Mac Elliott (45 yards) and SR Ethan Kessler (39 yards). Other receptions were made by WR Matt Sardo, TE Freddy Hamilton, and WR Eli Crystal. The offensive line made key blocks to allow long rushing gains but did struggle to maintain good pass protection. Starting offensive line members were C Jason Weiss, G Gabe Gersten, and G Johnny Rigolino.
On defense, the leading tacklers were LB Ethan Kessler with 10 tackles, and LB Nolan Cadieux with 5 tackles. Other Mustang tacklers were CB Ashton Colangelo, K Thomas Kruijtzer, LB Rocco Boland, SS Matt Sardo, FS Mac Elliott, CB Eli Crystal, CB James Deng, DT Johnny Rigolino, DT Jason Weiss, DT Gabe Gersten, and CB Aaron Jean-Francois.

The Mustangs travel to Pomfret School for the final game of the season, and possibly the league championship on Saturday, November 13, at 1:30 pm. Millbrook School students will travel to Pomfret to support all the Mustang teams competing on Millbrook-Pomfret Day.
