Millbrook bounced back less than twenty-four hours after their first loss of the season to vanquish a Class AA foe in Cheshire Academy by the tune of 74-59. The Mustangs jumped out to a 13-1 lead and continued to lead wire to wire in the contest. Truly a staunch defensive effort, Millbrook used multiple strings of multiple stops in a row to build that lead up to as many as 22 points late in the second half. Millbrook made 15 three-point field goals in the game.
The game was the first of the season in which all fifteen roster players played for Millbrook and the first game in which nine Mustangs scored. The contest also marked the fourth straight occasion in which at least three Mustangs scored in double-figures. Millbrook takes the next few days off for exams and will head up to Weston, MA for the Rivers Holiday Tournament.
