Mr. Feitelson has coached sports at Millbrook for almost a quarter of a century! The Boys JV Hockey and the Girls JV Soccer teams are fortunate to have his 23-years of coaching experience to lead them in instruction and inspire them to improve.

Mr. Feitelson enjoys the camaraderie that develops in team sports - a nice change of pace from the individual or small group nature of his classroom work. He strives to teach skills and encourage consistent improvement and loves to see students recognize how to put practiced skills into play during games.

Another aspect of coaching that he relishes is the change from year to year, since no two teams are ever the same. He appreciates the "fun" attitude of the JV girls' soccer players who are sometimes playing the sport for the first time, and he loves the sport of hockey, recognizing it is one of the rare JV sports that often has seniors on the team.

Mr. Feitelson himself has been playing hockey since the age of 10, and although he never played soccer, he quickly picked up a knowledge of the sport and began coaching when his son started playing.
