Millbrook Nabs 3-0 Win over Gunnery

The Millbrook Varsity Field Hockey team earned a 3-0 win over Gunnery at home on Wednesday. The Mustangs took an early lead on a penalty corner, as Heather Neuburger '13 injected the ball to Sarah Anthony '12, who sent the ball on a line to the far post and into the cage. Millbrook held on to carry the 1-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Sayre Reimer '13 deflected the ball into the net for her first goal in a Millbrook uniform. Neuburger closed out the scoring with a goal of her own with 8 minutes left. BooBoo Fuscone '12 earned her fourth shutout of the season in the net for the Mustangs, and Eliza Chapman '12 was her usual stalwart self at center back. The Mustangs close out the regular season on Saturday, hosting Miss Porter's.
