Millbrook Loses 0-1 to Canterbury

The Millbrook Varsity Field Hockey team lost 0-1 at Canterbury on Wednesday. Millbrook seemed unable to adjust to the bumpy, narrow field and let Canterbury dictate the pace of play for most of the game. Play was fairly sloppy, and neither team had many shots on goal, but Canterbury earned the win with a goal in the last two minutes of the game. Maddie Schmalz '13 and Eliza Chapman '12 get kudos for their nonstop hustle, and goalkeeper A.B. Fuscone made several nice saves before a bad bounce helped Canterbury score in the end.
