Millbrook Falls to Williston, 0-6

The Millbrook Varsity Field Hockey team dropped a tough 0-6 game to Williston in blustery conditions on Saturday afternoon. Williston scored two goals in the opening minutes of the game and three in the closing minutes.  The game was much closer than the score would indicate as Millbrook held its own through the middle of the game and had many scoring chances. The Mustangs were unable to convert those chances--which included a penalty stroke and seven penalty corners--and thus could not keep up with Williston's potent offense. Heather Neuburger '13 and Sarah Anthony '12 worked tirelessly up front, as did Eliza Chapman '12 and Caroline Whalen '14 in the back. Keeper A.B. Fuscone '12 notched 10 saves in the net, including her second penalty stroke save this season.
