Canterbury

We took some solid steps forward today.  For the first time, we began to show some patience with the ball, and were able to put together three or four passes in a row.  It was exciting to stand on the sideline and see the girls come to the realization that they could control the game sometimes.  We had no subs, so the team was exhausted at the end of the game.  Of special note today were Maddy Lyons and Amber Koenigsberger, who played their hearts out throughout the game, and were frequently able to control the midfield play with calm passing and smart movement.
