Millbrook 1 -- Northern Lights:U-14 0

It was all hands on deck as Millbrook took on the a skilled Northern Lights U-14 team, hoping to break its scoring drought and get the entire roster some good ice time.  The home team played well but failed once again to convert on its scoring opportunities save for an end-to-end rush, shot and rebound by Kelly Fallon in the second period.  The Northern Lights club had a few dangerous counterattacks, but Erin Doerrsam turned aside all that came her way.  It was a good outing for a tired team and nice to be on the winning side for the first time in a long while.
