On Saturday Millbrook came out focused on capturing the first win of the season against Hopkins School. Weather conditions were not favorable for either team, but it was Millbrook that maintained possession for most of the game. It was a total team effort with 6 different goal scorers.
Our defense remained fresh and was able to generate turnovers. Our offense was deliberate and stayed with the game plan. The Hopkins goalie made some crucial saves including a save on a cross-crease feed in the 3rd quarter.
Millbrook will face Hotchkiss in a scrimmage on Monday and go right back at it Wednesday against Kent.
