On Wednesday, Gunnery came to Millbrook to play a divisional game. It took a while before Millbrook got ready to play. At the end of the first period, Gunnery out shot Millbrook 7-19 and scored four times. After a brief rest, Millbrook came alive. Senior Mat Dubuc scored Millbrook’s first goal of the game. At the end of the second period the score was 4-1 and the shot count was 29-19 in Gunnery’s favor. Millbrook out shot Gunnery 12-10 in the second period. In the third period, Gunnery recorded 3 more goals and Senior Sean Spero scored for Millbrook making the score 7-2. The final shot tally was 38-32 in favor of Gunnery. It was a tough loss for Millbrook, but they need to get ready for another league game at Winchendon this Saturday afternoon.
