Millbrook
traveled to Berkshire to play a league
game on Monday. Berkshire came away with the win by
beating Millbrook 8-1. The Mustangs found themselves down 3-0 very early on
after a very sluggish start. Jamie MacMillan '09 started in goal for Millbrook,
but was replaced midway in the first period after seeing 6 only shots. Tim
Cooney '11 stepped in for the remainder of the game and
finished with 33 saves. When choosing to play at times, Millbrook was able to
control a good portion of the play and gave themselves a number of quality
opportunities. Despite those opportunities and a few Power Play chances,
Millbrook couldn’t seem to find the back of the net. Mat Dubuc '09 scored
Millbrook’s lone goal while the Berkshire goalie ended
up with 15 saves. Berkshire had 47 shots on Millbrook.
Let's see if Millbrook can redeem itself by playing a good game against Trinity
Pawling at 2:30 at Millbrook on
Wednesday.
