Millbrook Starts Strong

The Millbrook Varsity Golf Team travelled to Bulls Bridge Golf Course in Kent, CT to play a 4 way match with Kent, Canterbury and Chase Collegiate. Millbrook defeated Chase and Canterbury handly, but missed out on a tie with Kent by a stroke. Colin Stuart '14, playing in his first match ever for Millbrook shot a team low 41 (one stroke off of the medalist). Sam Lawson-Johnston '13 followed with a 46 and Ken Eger '12 with a 49, not the best day for either player. Griffin Everts '13 missed short putt on the last to shoot a smooth 50. On an encouraging note, Charlie Hoffman '13 and Nick Morley '13, playing in their first matches ever in the 5 and 6 spots shot 49 and 47 respectively. Millbrook 232, Kent 231, Chase 260, Canterbury 269.
