Millbrook 0 at Westminster 4

Millbrook played well against a much faster Westminster team for 36 out of 45 minutes, but lost 4-0, all four goals being scored in a stretch from two minutes remaining in the first period to seven minutes gone in the second.  The team defense went to sleep for those nine minutes, and against a team of Westminster's caliber, the consequences were immediate.  The team played with good intensity for the first and third periods but had difficulty generating more than a handful of serious scoring opportunities during the game.  There were some exceptional performances for the visitors, as Kelly Fallon was a constant menace at forward and the D-pairing of Molly Chapman and Ema Waldschmidt made one good play after another.  Goalie Melissa Rome settled the game down well after the four quick goals, and kept a blank sheet the rest of the way.
