A big win for the Mustangs

On Saturday, Millbrook suited up to play Pomfret School. The Mustangs came away with a win beating Pomfret 4-2. Matt Abbott class of ’09 recorded a goal and Mat Dubuc also class of ’09 scored three times. Jamie MacMillan proved to be a solid goaltender by stopping a total of 27 shots. The final shot count was 24-29 in favor of Pomfret. Even though Millbrook got a win, they need to work on staying out of the penalty box. Over the course of the game Millbrook had 7 penalties compared to 3 on the Pomfret team. Let’s see if Millbrook can go into next game against Westminster on Monday January 19^th, with the same intensity they had in this game.
