Millbrook at Williston Northampton

After a long bus ride to Williston-Northampton, the boy’s lacrosse team found themselves in a dog fight against a very determined and focused Williston team. Williston took advantage of the bus legs and home field advantage to jump out on the Mustangs early on four quick fast break goals. Millbrook collected their first of only four goals on the day when Taylor Vitt 07’ found the net off a feed from line mate Nick Weaver 07’. Williston kept the pressure on all afternoon and pulled away.

Will Benjamin 09’ and Lynn Harrington 08’ continued their dominance on face off’s for the lone bright spot of the day, taking 15 of 19 face off’s during the game. Point leaders in the game for Millbrook were Nick Weaver 07’ with 1g 1a, Taylor Vitt 07 2g and Marcello Dubaz 1g.

Congratulations to Williston on a great game. A special thank you goes out to the Weavers for making the trip to Williston and providing the boys with food after the game. Millbrook will return home for their last game of the season on Friday, May 25th against Salisbury School, a 4:45 PM contest.
