Strong Showing at Silo

Millbrook golfers posted the best ever 18 hole team score in the Silo Challenge. There were a couple of competitions in the format. Brunswick won the team gross match, but Millbrook was second in the six-team event. Casey Berninger tied for medalist honors with a one-over 72. There was also a best ball team event that involved parents and faculty. We do not remember who won that event, as it was more about having a fun day on the links. Millbrook parents Michael Contino, Kadir Erkmen, Greg Rutledge, and Rick Urnek had a terrific day golfing with their sons and enjoying copious amounts of food and beverages. Millbrook will wrap up its season next Wednesday in the KIT.
