Wednesday was a beautiful day for lacrosse and Millbrook embraced it. The team came out fired-up and ready to play. The draw controls did go to both teams and was a crucial battle that Millbrook fought hard for. Winning 13 of 21 draws, Millbrook was all about possession and being smart with the ball. Geneva Wagoner '13 had 9 saves throughout the game and was a big component of the defense. In total, Millbrook had 41 groudballs. Gianna Muscari '15 had 6 ground balls and Kayla Schmalz '14 had 7. The defense collapsed well on the ball and the attack took care of the ball when in possession. Morgan Davis '13 - 5g, Muscari '15 - 2g, Maddie Schmalz'13 - 1g 2a, Heather Neuburger'13 - 2g 1a, Georgia Wright'13 - 3g 1a, Cate MacKenzie'15 - 1g, Abby Sanford '16 - 1a, Kayla Schmalz '14 - 1a. A game with a lot of contributors and even more team effort.
