Millbrook takes King

The rain cleared just in time for Millbrook to take the turf on Wednesday. After a few minutes of shock that the sun was out, Millbrook stepped up their game and started picking up ground balls, snagging draw controls and putting the ball in the net. Captains Molly Chapman '11 and Patricia McCarthy '11 carried the team with their efforts and desire throughout the game. McCarthy collected 9 ground balls and Chapman had 6 draw controls and 5 goals. Millbrook's defense also came together as a unit as well. Millbrook's next game is away on Saturday (Parents Weekend) against Williston.
