Millbrook @ Sacred Heart

The girls varsity lacrosse team traveled to Sacred Heart on Wednesday. Both teams proved to have skilled players. From the beginning to the end of the game, both teams fought hard. But it was the Sacred Heart girls that won this fought hard game. The game ended with 7-13 hardloss. Goals came from Evie Pierrepont ’08 (1), captain Devin Hardy ’08 (3), Nell Burdis ’10 (1), Allie Cavanaugh ’08 (1), and Molly Chapman ’11 (1). The defense worked hard to keep Sacred Heart’s girls out. Mary Rose Morrison came out of the game with 7 great saves. Millbrook girls are looking forward to their game against Rye Country Day School.
