Girls Lax loses to Bearcats
The girls varsity lacrosse team traveled to Hotchkiss on Monday, April 7. While the girls came out strong, Hotchkiss proved to be a very competitive opponent taking the win 15 to Millbrook's 6.
Most of our girls spent the entire game on the field, but never once showed fatigue nor relented in their determination. The midfielders (led by Allie Cavanaugh ‘08, Nell Burdis ’10, Devin Hardy ’08, Olivia Farrell ’10 and Kealin Maloney '08) and the defense (Hallie Bates ’08, Kristin Zublin ’09, Maddie Fuller ’10 and Xan Duhoski ‘10) certainly got a work out. Mary Rose Morrison ‘09, the starting goalie, did very well defending Millbrook’s goal, taking multiple shots from Hotchkiss girls.
