Millbrook visited a powerful Kingswood-Oxford (13-2-1) team this afternoon, and made a good game of it, but lost its fifth one-goal game of the season. Kingswood had the territorial advantage throughout, Millbrook had the goaltending edge, and the game was tied 2-2 going into the third. K-O got the vital third goal, and with about five minutes to play there was a moment of high excitement for the Mustangs when Kristen Zublin, who was playing a terrific two-way game, got free on a breakaway only for the whistle to blow behind the play for an injured teammate. "Them's the breaks", as they say, but Millbrook was pleased to have played its best hockey of the year in the second period, with two goals from Kelly Fallon on assists from Olivia Farrell and Zublin, and disppointed to have come out flat in the first. Erin Doerrsam continued her fine run of play, stopping 34 of 37 shots. It was an entertaining match, with only one penalty called as both teams played hard and clean.
