Nice Class C Win at Home

A gorgeous, if chilly, day saw a good match from the Millbrook Squad. Catherine, Lucy, and Maggie were impressive in straight-set wins in singles. Estee and Vivian proved a good pairing, winning in straight sets, as did Lily and Bea, and Ella and Finley. The last two matches went to tiebreakers, and I could not be more proud of the girls. Sophie and Emelia lost a heartbreaking tiebreak in the first set but stormed back to win the second set 6–2.  While they fell 7–10 in the tiebreak, they fought for every point. Ireland also lost the first set and then regrouped, found her depth, and won the second set. She fought off several match points in the tiebreaker to eventually earn the 14–12 victory!
