Mustangs Drop Tight Match to Saints

Millbrook golf hosted Salisbury at Millbrook Golf and Tennis Club. In a closely contested match, the two teams posted scores of 200. The Saints came out on top when each team sent one golfer out in a single-hole playoff. Millbrook was led by captain Gavin Urnek, who earned medalist honors by recording a score of 35. He was followed closely by Casey Berninger, 36. CJ List managed his way around the course in 40 strokes. Michael Contino carded the fourth-best score for the Mustangs, 44. In his debut with the match squad, Owen Kunschner put up 45. The sixth player for Millbrook was Michael Rutledge, but his score was not used in the team total. Tough way to lose, but the score of 200 is one of the best for the Millbrook golf team in years.
