The Millbrook Softball team knew that it would face a tough contest against perennial powerhouse Westminster, but the Mustangs came out ready to play in the first couple innings, making good contact on offense and holding Westminster scoreless. In the bottom of the third, however, walks, errors, and mental mistakes led to 5 Westminster runs, which was more than enough to overtake a suddenly anemic Mustangs offense. Millbrook mustered only three baserunners during the game. Meg Ahern '13 pitched the whole game, allowing 7 earned runs on three hits. She struck out 14.
