Mustangs fall to Frederick Gunn

Each member of the team put forth a steady and consistent effort in the game, but unfortunately, the bounces did not go our way by game’s end. It was 0-0 in the third quarter: a close game with a lot of end-to-end action. With a few of our defensive players out, Annie Hallock and Julia Schereschewsky both stepped in and had great games. The Mustangs had a few opportunities where they implemented the new plays practiced earlier in the week. Despite the well-timed execution by the midfield and attack, Frederick Gunn’s goalie came up with some big saves and kept us off the board. The team has a great deal to be proud of, and we hope we can capitalize on our positive team energy and cohesion in the next game.
