Millbrook's six 6th formers played their last games as Mustangs in style in a 59-36 win over Canturbury. The turning point of the game came in a two minute stretch in the second half when 6th formers Daniela Muscari, Adelaide Armah, Alyssa McLeod, Lizzie Chamberlin, and Helene Apollon entered the game together as the "cheetah package". The objective was simple: guard all over the court, and try to play and score as fast as possible. True to the groups character the 6th formers executed to perfection and provided a spark of energy that allow the team to finish the game on a 19-4 run in the last 8 minutes of regulation. The Mustangs came together as a team and showed their growth on the season. We will miss our 6th formers as leaders, teammates, and hard workers next year and are optimistic that they have set an excellent foundation for next years returners.
