Millbrook Takes 2nd Place in Yale Physics Olympics Event

Millbrook students' combined brainpower and creativity earned them a top-notch 2nd place in the Fermi Quiz during this year's Yale Physics Olympics.

Tom An '16, Tim Drevitch '17, Maggie Guo '16, Jason Wei '16, and David Yu '16 represented Millbrook School beautifully in a series of 5 complicated tasks that made up the Yale Physics Olympics.

Our students went up against teams from 49 other high schools in this 18th annual competition held on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Students came to compete with different skill levels but with a shared passion for science. The goal of the event was to encourage students to think scientifically and to strengthen their love of learning, which is why the executive committee worked hard to ensure each challenge could be completed with a little creativity and a basic understanding of physics.

Millbrook School thanks Yale University for hosting and for the opportunity to complete.
