Girls Lax Pummels Rival Canterbury 16-3

The girls varsity lacrosse team traveled to Canterbury School on Wednesday and came prepared, even after their hard loss to the Williston girls.The girls had a hard first half, head to head with Canterbury’s girls. In the second half, both teams fought hard to come out with a win. Millbrook came out on top with a 16-3 win. Goals came from senior captains Mimi Anthony ’08 and Devin Hardy ’08 plus Kealin Maloney ’08, EviePierrepont ’08, Allie Cavanaugh ’08, Nell Burdis ’10, Olivia Farrell’10, and Molly Chapman ’11. The girls also had a huge number of assists which shows the amount of teamwork that went into the game. The girls are excited for their next game against The Gunnery School.
