BV Hockey vs. South Kent 12/8

The boys varsity hockey team lost a hard fought battle to a talented South Kent team 3-1. The scoring started midway through the first when South Kent won a face off in the Millbrook end and sent it to the slot for a quick one-timer that just went past the slide of Tim Cooney. South Kent added another with just 45 seconds to play in the second period to make it 2-0 going into the third. Millbrook got on the board with nine minutes to play in the game when Even Marek scored on a nice backhand with assists to Phil DiGiacomo and Wilson Giraldo. Millbrook was on the power play with two minutes to play, but could not generate a good scoring chance. South Kent tacked on a empty net goal with 2 seconds to play to end the game 3-1.
