On Saturday the Mustangs earned a much needed, and well deserved road win against Winchendon. Despite the three hour bus ride the Mustangs struck first on a goal by Penn Sednaoui, assisted by Tom Nolan. Millbrook fell asleep for the rest of the first and allowed a young, skilled Winchendon team to take a 2-1 lead after one. Millbrook's power play was impressive going 2 for 2 in the second period on goals by Brandon Howes and Kevin Altidor, giving Millbrook a 3-2 lead. Winchendon continued to battle and tied the score at 3 apiece at the end of the second. The Mustangs played a great third period and took the game over on goals from Penn Sednaoui and Jamison Etting. A late goal by Winchedon made it interesting, but the Mustangs were able to hold on.
