a strong team showing

This afternoon, the boys soccer team played a superb match against a scrappy Rye Wildcats squad. After a pretty even start, the home side broke open the scoring and pushed hard in pursuit of the victory. Bouda led all scorers with 4 goals and 2 assists. Reed and Moir, who played his best game of the season, scored our other two goals. The back four, ably assisted by Kelley, bottled up the Rye strikers while the midfield, especially Darmon, moved the ball skillfully from our end into Rye's defensive third. Simons had another strong game in net, as well. And, Boisvert seemed to be everywhere - making defensive plays in our end and carrying the play on goal at the other.
