The boys rose to the challenge today against a skilled and disciplined South Kent side. The lack of cohesion evident on Wednesday was gone; we played as a unit this afternoon. Everyone saw time on the field and all played smart soccer. We managed three pretty goals, scored by Bouda, Purse and Madsen. Our defensive coverages improved and we managed better control in the midfield. Kelley, Rode Viesca and Grossman had their best games to date. Tuke and Simons each made several spectacular saves. Despite the lopsided score, we came home satisfied with the improvements we made and eager to get back on the field on Monday.
