setback

The boys traveled to Trinity Pawling yesterday and ran into a very physical soccer team. The game included four PKs and an 'own goal' and more closely resembled the game usually seen on TP's football turf, where we played. To their credit, TP imposed their style of play on us and we could not find a way to turn the tables. Nevertheless, the game was close into the final minutes, with each side having quality scoring chances down the stretch. Only the last PK with less than 5 minutes to play put the game out of our reach. Bouda scored both of our goals; Boisvert and Rayhill did their best in the back and Hu and Purse played well off the bench.
