Mustang Offense Awakens After Early Slumber

Millbrook headed north to Hoosac School on Wednesday. The Mustangs were slow to shake the bus ride and quickly found themselves in a 3-0 hole after allowing three unearned runs in the first two innings. After a scoreless third, Millbrook's offense exploded for seven runs in the top of the fourth, highlighted by a 3-RBI single from Tahrieq Koonce '17. The Mustangs continued to capitalize on multiple baserunners over the next three innings, plating multiple runs in each run. Jack Quartararo '17 continued to get ahead of hitters and establish his fastball. He pitched five efficient innings and Zane Acord added a scoreless frame to end the game. Millbrook returns home for a 4:00 PM first pitch on Monday.
