Mustangs Keep Streaking With Winter Weekend Win
The Millbrook Boys JV basketball team continued its winning ways against a competitive and evenly matched opponent in The Master's School. It was the team's best all-around effort and energy that provided a great game to watch and be a part of.
The Mustangs were led by Haoyi Gao as he scored 26 points, eclipsing the 20 point mark for the third time this season. Kazuki Unayama and Olly Cohen provided a much needed offensive spark as well scoring 13 points and 11 points rrespectively.
Jon Yalof and Archer Biggs continue to bring the energy and effort on the defensive end as each of them guarded the two best players on the opposing team. Henry Schulz also brought a fiery energy to the game and got the home crowd and his teammates pumped up during the game. Sydney Wright, Dylan Cox, Kai Yu, and Nic Brode gave solid minutes and contributions as well.
The boys will next play at The Kent School on Wednesday, January 21st in hopes of getting over .500 for the first time this season.
