Millbrook lost to a very physical and talented Albany Academy team 5-3on the Wednesday after long weekend. Coming off 12 days without playing a game, Millbrook was not ready to go when the puck dropped and was dominated in the first period. Tim Cooney made some nice saves in net, however, and the game was scoreless after one period. Millbrook found their legs and started playing better in the second period, but a few costly mistakes led to three straight Albany Academy goals. With five minutes left to play in the period, Penn Sednaoui scored a power play goal and Josh Freitas scored minutes later on a two-on-oneand the game was tight again. Millbrook had a great opportunity on a three-on-one to tie the game, but the shot went wide and Albany Academy capitalized on a defensive zone breakdown shortly thereafter to make it 4-2 after two periods. Millbrook played their best hockey in the third, but scoring was even at a goal apiece, ending the game at 5-3.
