Millbrook Narrowly Misses Win against Hotchkiss, Trinity-Pawling
Mustangs lose to Hotchkiss in head-to-head sprint to the finish line. Trinity-Pawling had excellent day, claiming two victories.
At Trinity-Pawling on Saturday, Millbrook's runners made a strong push on a winding course that traversed several clearings and most of T-P's campus, along with the skirts of the football field. It was Trinity-Pawling's Parents' Weekend, and the campus was alive with games, visitors, and beautiful fall colors.
Even though Millbrook did not come through with a win, this meet represents an amazing improvement in our boys' talent and focus. Last year it was Millbrook, 41 and Hotchkiss, 18. The narrowing of the gap between teams is a positive indicator that the Mustangs are on the rise.
