Zooie of the Week - Kasai Bown '18
Our Zooie of the Week this week is Kasai Brown! Kasai cares for our bobcat, Betty.
Kasai is a V former from Brooklyn, NY, and he plays varsity basketball at Millbrook. Being a Zooie at the Trevor Zoo has provided a unique opportunity for him to work with animals:
“I never really worked with animals before coming to Millbrook, so the opportunity to work at a the Trevor Zoo really excited me,” he said. Kasai has developed a bond with Betty throughout his first few weeks as a Zooie, and says that her personality is similar to his on the basketball court:
“My favorite animal is the bobcat, and I love working with her because she has a real personality. Watching her attack her prey is fascinating, and it reminds me of being competitive on the basketball court.”
Kasai has done an outstanding job as a Zooie, and we look forward to seeing his success on the basketball court this winter!
