Join Us for Arts Night on January 8

Millbrook students and faculty have been working diligently to prepare for our upcoming Arts Night on Friday, January 8. The event will include a creative lineup of music, dance, and improvisation.

Millbrook’s instrumental ensemble has been learning and practicing various music genres and will perform works ranging from classical to pop to new age.

Our improvisation students are sure to inspire laughter with their interlude of games that will involve audience participation. Additionally, students from Millbrook’s public speaking course will present an adaptation of a children’s story, and performance portfolio students will deliver powerful monologues.

Dance students have been practicing several moving parts for Friday’s performances that will include co-choreographed work from Liesje Bluestone ’16 and RJ Brent ’18. Ghanaian students Adelaide Armah ’19 and Suwaibatu Mohammed ’19 will also perform a self-choreographed dance inspired by their homeland. In addition, VI former Emma Westermann ’16 will perform her college audition solo that she prepared for her applications to prestigious dance programs across the country.

These are just some of the many performances from the upcoming event. We hope to see you there!

If you cannot make it to campus, be sure to visit our photo gallery for images of all of our performers.
