BVH vs. Albany Academy 2/25

Albany Academy came into the opening night of the Empire Cup looking for their 25th win of the season, and they got it by the skin of their teeth. After two even periods of play, Millbrook dominated the third period with the help of a very supportive crowd. Down 4-1 with just 3 minutes to play, Kevin Altidor scored his second goal of the day after flying by the Albany Academy defense for a breakaway. Millbrook then emptied its net still down two goals, and Kevin Altidor completed his hat trick with a rebound goal with 40 seconds to play. Unfortunately, Millbrook could not capitalize on a couple of good scoring opportunities in the final 40 seconds and took the 4-3 loss.
