In another exciting home game, the boys came away with a much needed 5-4 victory in OT on Monday evening. Millbrook got off to its usual strong start in the first, netting two goals to Canterbury's one. Despite dominating much of the play in the second period, Millbrook could not score and Canterbury bounced back to take a 3-2 lead going into the third period. Millbrook crashed the net hard to start the period and went ahead on goals by Wilson Giraldo and Josh Freitas. Canterbury tied the game on the power play with under a minute to play in the game, forcing Millbrook to play its second straight overtime game. This one would not end in a tie, however, as Jamison Etting chipped in a rebound off an Even Marek shot on the second shift of the extra frame. It was a great feeling to get the win, especially going into games against Williston and Salisbury later in the week.
