BVH vs. Pomfret 1/15

The Mustangs lost a tightly contested game versus Pomfret in the final minute of overtime on Saturday afternoon in eastern Connecticut. The two teams played evenly in the first and went into the break scoreless. Pomfret took the lead early in the second on the power play, but Millbrook responded with a power play goal of its own just minutes later by Kevin Altidor. Penn Sednoaui put home a point shot rebound a few shifts later, and Millbrook took a 2-1 lead into the third. Pomfret put the pressure on in the third and came away with a goal four minutes into the period to tie the game at two. The two teams played back and forth the rest of the way and through the first four minutes of overtime, but Pomfret scored on a loose puck in front with under a minute to play in the game.
