While completing her degree in physical therapy at Northeastern University, Kinley would make trips in her free time to visit her friend and former Millbrook classmate Devin Ressler '02. Devin had suffered from a debilitating spinal cord injury and Kinley would make trips back to Millbrook from Boston to take him to watch lacrosse games. Devin became the inspiration for Kinley to focus her studies on neurological therapy for patients with spinal cord injuries. In her first job out of college, it became evident to Kinley when working with injured patients that there was a discrepancy between resources available to her patients, and this motivated her to co-found a non-profit organization, No Limits Collaborative, that works with patients who might otherwise not have access to proper treatment. Today Kinley works closely with patients to design step-by-step plans tailored to their individual needs and goals, and she is willing to work towards those goals no matter how hard it might be or how long it takes. "I see myself always working within the disability community," she says, and it's clear that she will continue to bring conviction and compassion to everything that she does.
