Millbrook's girls hockey program carries a hefty schedule, playing games against some of the top Division 1 and Division 2 teams in New England. Being a member of the Millbrook girls hockey team means finding and maintaining the right balance between school and sport, and doing one’s best to contribute to the community through the many avenues and opportunities presented on campus. The girls work to develop through hard work in the classroom and consistent effort in the rink, and it is through this process that they discover what is required to pursue their goal of becoming college student-athletes. Practices often consist of small games and drills that foster a highly competitive environment in which the players are able to push both themselves and their teammates. The team’s concerted collective approach allows for the girls to develop their skills and knowledge of the game, while enjoying being part of a team built on accountability, sportsmanship, and selflessness.
Recent graduates have played at Amherst, Buffalo State, Concordia, Norwich, Connecticut College, Elmira, Hamilton, Manhattanville, Oswego, Plattsburgh, Utica, St. Michael’s, and Syracuse.
