Battling some illness and the loss of a starting outside hitter to injury, the Mustangs came out strong in the first set with the game tied at 5-5. Kent when on one of their two set-deciding service runs to build a lead. With multiple 25+ second rallies in the set, the tension in the gym was palpable. Kent eventually took the first set 21-25. The second set started off strong for Millbrook with Piper Strautman drilling the opposing libero in the shoulder on her first swing, and the Mustangs eventually had the lead at 9-6. Similarly to the first game, Kent proved to be too strong in the service and serve receive game. Set 3 was back and forth to begin, but Millbrook made 10 service or attacking errors in the set to hand the match over to Kent 13-25.
