Millbrook Outlasts Salisbury

Opening the season on the road is no short order, just ask Millbrook's Boys Varsity Basketball team. In a game that saw a combined forty fouls called, the Mustangs were able to grit out an ugly, yet much savored, road victory. The second half saw the Mustangs up by as much as eleven points; however, a stretch of hot shooting by Salisbury and cold shooting by the road team gave Salisbury a chance to cut the lead to three with twenty-five seconds to go. Millbrook was able to ice the game at the free throw line in the waning seconds and held on for a 55-51 victory to move to 1-0 overall. Scoring and Rebound Totals -
