Mustangs Fall to Gunnery

The Millbrook Varsity Softball team lost at Gunnery, 10-0, on a hot and sunny Saturday afternoon. The Mustangs had an abbreviated warmup and looked rusty, never stringing together enough hits in a row. Captain Riley Croghan ‘18 had a pair of hits, and Jessie Foote ‘18 added one as well. The Mustangs also got a couple of nice catches in the outfield from Sam Besca ‘18 and Helene Apollon ‘19. The Mustangs will have another shot at Gunnery, hosting them on Wednesday for Millbrook’s senior game.
