Last Second Loss at Lawrenceville

Millbrook played their best team game in while after a long trip to New Jersey on a snowy Saturday afternoon. The girls were making good decisions and getting everyone involved. As a result, the team was able to erase a 2-1 deficit and enter the third period tied at 2. It was a back and forth period with the Lawrenceville goaltender making a few great saves. With 45 seconds to go, Lawrenceville called timeout before a face-off in their own zone. Millbrook was able to win the draw and put a barrage of shots on goal for 35 seconds before the net was knocked off and the whistle blew with 10 second to play. Unfortunately, Lawrenceville was able to chip the puck out and raced down the ice to score on a 2 on 1 with just over one second to play. It was a fun game, but a tough loss in the end. Luckily, we don't have much time to feel sorry for ouselves as we head to Gunnery on Monday!
